Jesus it was hot yesterday. This weekend our nation hit the BBQs and the sweet smell of carbonated meat wafted through the air. We enjoyed two such events this weekend. My thermometer recorded 32 degrees Celsius yesterday. Looks like another scorcher today too.

Radio 5 Live presenters Nicky Campbell and Fi Glover were involved in an ‘uncomfortable spat’ this morning, after an allusion was made to an incident in which he allegedly made co-presenter Victoria Derbyshire burst into tears.
