New Deathbru 4 U

A drunken conversation over a tasty curry last Friday has spurred me onto thinking about recording some new material for my band. For the last five years Deathbru has been neatly folded away as I’ve been doing proper adult things like buying a house, preparing for marriage and dealing with life in general.

Of Roses I am green

I’m massively envious of those lucky mancs who witnessed Ian Brown play a load of classic Stone Roses numbers in his recent set in his hometown. NME reports that not only did he resurrect roses b-sides like ‘Where Angels play’, moreover he also invited ex-bassist Mani on stage for a manly hug and Oasis’ Noel [...]

Solarized - Ian Brown

In just seven years Ian Brown has managed to double the output he managed to release under the Stone Roses banner in ten. That’s not to say that they’re totally floyd-esque. Far from [...]

Nick Mason ~ Inside Out - A Personal History of Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is writing a book called Inside Out - A Personal History of Pink Floyd on his time with the band. He’s the only member of the band who kept cuttings, set lists and is largely credited as the bands ‘official biographer’. However, he’s only just got around to pulling all [...]

DAB Car Audio

With prices like £139 for a Goodmans DAB digital car radio/CD player from Argos, it’s surely only a matter of time before I begin to receive XFM in my car. Anybody got a car DAB set yet? How’s the reception? Comments are open.
