Some interesting patterns going on here. Something very appealing about OU Light Green. The colour cross-shapes on both these publications remind me of balsa-wood model aeroplanes!
I think this type of design can carry across to the web where we have a solid white bar at the top of each page. Having a solid OU colour directly below gives good emphasis to the title of the particular topic.
