I did some external user-testing on this. Asking a small amount of people what they would expect these buttons to do.
The interesting finding being that there was a concensus that ’share’ and ‘delete’ would apply to the page the were actually on, not a global navigation function.
When I explained what the buttons actually did the suggestion was to replace ’share’ and ‘delete’ with either ‘manage’ or ‘organise’.
Manage sounds like a good idea to me.
