My longest serving pal, Matt is leaving for Maryland, US at the end of the month. We had a weekend of partying to send him on his way. I now have a week of leave from work so expect to see some more pics etc on here soon.

Some complete lunatics decided to terrorize London yesterday. Today Londoners are returning to work using the tube and red busses. The G8 summit goes on, as does life.

DSCF0008: The first of the planks to cover the huge expanse are down. Despite the rain’s best efforts, we now have a partial surface to walk on.

DSCF0007: We came home last night to see the frame for our new raised deck sitting on top of our old patio. It looks like a right behemoth of a structure. Helen’s actually worried that the deck might be too big!
