Helen’s sister Wendy’s boyfriend, Alex, had a bad car crash on his way to work this morning. He hit a lorry at 70mph and had to be cut out of his car. For all my issues with the fiat Punto, it’s certainly a safe car so im hoping the airbag did its job. He’s smashed his hip which will need mending and has broken arms and legs. There’s also a fair bit of glass in his arm apparently. He’s been in for an MRI scan to check for internal bleeding. He’s currently in Milton Keynes hospital but may be moved to Oxford to have his hip repaired. So if you can all send positive energy in the general direction of Alex - he’s a really sound chap who could use the good vibes right now.
