Tear down the wall

I spent much of this weekend doing typical bank holiday type tasks. Whilst I had planned to mow the overgrown meadow in my back garden, weed and plant, the good old British weather soon put a stop to that. Nevertheless I did manage to do some weeding in the pouring rain before retreating inside my house to pull down the overbearing wall between our lounge and dining room. I’ve only removed the dining room side of the stud so far but I’ve got a strong desire to remove the rest ASAP. The great thing is that Helen has finally agreed to live with the rooms in a state of semi-chaos whilst I renovate for the better. I’ll take some photos and post them here as soon as I can unearth my camera.
