Farewell to Shay

Shay leaves his post in the dwindling telecommunications industry today to take on a new challenge in the flourishing world of crime. So raise your glasses and bid him a fond farewell. All who want to wish him on his way should make their way to the Moon Under the Water in Xscape for 7:30.

The Passion of The Christ

Having grown up a Catholic I must admit that The Passion of The Chirst didn’t exactly shock me. Years of church and R.E. lessons had nicely put all of those hideous images in my mind anyway. However, I don’t remember the evil demons and satanic babies in any of the stuff I read. I do [...]

Starsky & Hutch review

Shay
Do it. Doo it.
Guy
So funny I’d see it again.
Shay
Dooo it.

Guy
Nah, more of a “Do it.” Less ‘o’s and a full stop. Definitely a full stop. Otherwise it sounds too ren and stimpy.

Shay
I’d say it’s like when the American’s pronounce due, due it!
Guy
Which is phonetically the same as “Do it!”

Guy and Helen to be wed

The best route planner

The RAC have really hit on something with the new RAC Route Planner. Seriously, give it a while. This tidy Java app actually enables you to follow the complete route of your journey as it you were actually driving it! No more up, down, left and right movements through grids. This is seriously intelligent stuff.
