This ‘n’ that

Last night Shay, Helen, Nicola and I saw Charlie’s
Angels ‘Full Throttle’. Just like many people have said, it’s a feature-length music video. Great tunes and great visuals. Pure audio/visual candy with the threadbare plot you’d expect. Last week we saw ‘Bruce
Almighty‘. I enjoyed it, Shay didn’t. The week before that it was ‘Too Fast, Too Furious’ which was similar to Charlie’s Angels - harmless throwaway stuff. I still think that Matrix:Reloaded is the best thing I’ve seen this year.

Today it’s damn hot and I’m uncomfortably sweaty. Days like this make me wish I had a pool in my garden. No such luck. Stephen continues his two week escapade in Malia. I’m more than a tad jealous. Helen and I are looking at visiting the Dominican Republic in October. Never been. Is it any good?

Today is Séamus’ 26th birthday. No doubt he will be getting well and truly hammered this weekend. Happy birthday me ole’ mucker.
