Central Milton Keynes Public Transport Proposals

“Milton Keynes Council and English Partnerships are setting out the potential for improving public transport access to Central Milton Keynes (CMK). The proposals for CMK follow work undertaken by FaberMaunsell in developing a Long Term Public Transport Vision for Milton Keynes. The proposals are also strongly based on development proposals for CMK (the CMK Framework) developed in 2001.”

Seems a little odd that when they were devising the ‘new city’ that they didn’t make a decent provision for public transport in the first place. At least the first steps (PDF, 2mb) in the right direction have been taken. You can even fill in a questionnaire (Word Doc, 100k).
