Ready to roll

We are now a mere 16 hours away from moving from Milton Keynes to Buckingham. Our home is once more just a house with a lot of our stuff in it. The inexplicably hot weather has made for a fun last day here in Emerson Valley. Apparently it’s hotter than in Spain or Greece today. So au revouir, see you on the other side.

Our host posted a message on their site explaining why this site has been down for the last 36 hours:

HOSTZONE - Network Status -
All Systems are currently now online and available, however we have encountered severe network problems over the last 36hours. (1400 16/04/03). These problems were caused by our ISP’s DNS routing. Their problem remains unsolved, however we have now moved our dns away from them in order to eliminate the risk of this type of downtime recurring. This move has meant more investment by ourselves and unfortunately some downtime. We thankyou for your patience, however if we had not changed from our ISP then services would still be down - Thankyou SUPPORT

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Guy is fascinated by the Bishop Rock lighthouse. Would love to know how it was built.
