Moving home update

Retrospective building regulations have been obtained. A crisp certificate is in the post. We are now on the home straight. We are hoping to arrange a viewing of the property tomorrow morning in order to assess the amount of replastering required. Hopefully we should be able to exchange next week. All go from here.

Moving home update

Retrospective building regulations have been applied for by the vendor. An inpection has taken place. We don’t know if the regs were actually granted. Doh! Hopefully we should know more by this afternoon. Since we made it clear that we would not exchange without regs, it could be the case that our vendor is having to put the right lintel into the archway.

No idea what I’m talking about? See: Housing Hell part 1, Housing Hell part 2, Moving home update, Housing Hell part 3. That should fill you in.
