Bad fruit

For about two weeks now I’ve had three pieces of fruit sat on top of my PC at work: two apples and a pear. I’m not going to eat them, although they are real and will obviously rot. There were all in good shape until the war began yesterday. Today, all three have started to change colour.

I have decided that the pear represents Iraq, the larger of the two apples - America and the smaller Apple - Britain. The pear is shrivelling on the inside but still pretty firm on the outside, the Big apple is still looking pretty good but the smaller apple has turned quite brown on top.

Today we (UK) lost eight soldiers in a crappy old helicopter. Relations between the French and the UK are still in a poor state of affairs. I will let you know how my fruit gets on.
