Last night the last episode of series two of The Office was aired on BBC2. Watching Brent beg for his job almost brought a tear to my eye. Ricky Gervais has hinted that there may be a third series but I wonder where they can take the show now that he’s out of a job, Dawn is leaving and Gareth is the new ‘temporary’ boss. If you missed any of the series then you can see it all over again on BBC Choice this Saturday from 9pm.
And what is filling the void that will inevitably be left in our Monday nights? Well, Mr Alan Partridge of course! Next Monday at 10pm, I’m Alan Partridge returns to BBC2 and sees him back on form presenting a foreign quiz show and living in a caravan whilst his house is being built.
